When Reese Witherspoon won the Academy Award for Best Actress only weeks before her 30th birthday, the world knew there was nothing that this woman couldn’t do. Balancing being an actress, producer, mother and wife, she seemed to have it all, and her quote about changing diapers on the morning of the Oscars just made her incredibly endearing. The announcement that her marriage was over could have led to a tabloid scandal of epic proportions (Brad and Jennifer, anyone?), but it seems that even celebrity hungry readers were willing to forgo gossip in order to support her through difficult times. She is the friend we want to have, our role model and a Savvy Miss we all look up to. If every woman carried herself like Reese Witherspoon, we wouldn’t know what a glass ceiling was.
