Let’s face it, you’re attractive as is. But sometimes, you think adding a little bit of eye shadow here and a lot of blush there will make you into even more of a looker. But sadly, coating on the makeup does not mean you’re going to look better. In fact, it can mean quite the opposite. Here are 10 makeup mistakes no woman should make.
Goop, there it is.
One layer of lip gloss—gorgeous. Four layers of gloss—ghastly. This is not the time to use the mantra, “the more the merrier.” And don’t think that the more gloss you put on, the more you’ll be kissed. Too much gloss is actually a turn off. Who wants to get stuck to all that gunk?
Headlights.
If you’ve always dreamed of growing up to look like a locomotive, then by all means wear shiny white eye shadow that stretches all the way up to your eyebrows. You just may attract new friends in need of some light for the walk home. But if subtlety is more your thing, try brightening up just the lid and stopping there
Glitter.
It wasn’t a good movie, and it certainly isn’t a good makeup choice (at least if you’re over 10 years old). A little shine is fine, but know that if you apply too much, you’ll evoke Mariah Carey. And honestly, do you really want her as your beauty muse?

| I look back on all my high school photos and cringe. I had just discovered the wonders of foundation, but no one told me I needed to use a little blush or foundation on top. In every picture my body was super-tan, and my face was bright white. Not cute. | |

| Aahhh the glitter! I was definitely guilty of this mistake when I was younger. I must admit I do still have a glitter eye shadow- but it's only for costume parties! | |

| I like glitter. Granted I don't wear it every day but for special parties or events I think glitter can add alot. Especially if you keep in in specific areas like your eye lids only. I think its cute and a nice touch. | |
