Ghost face.
Have a penchant for sticking your face in flower? Like putting on a facial mask and then going out on the town? Well, that’s what it looks like when you wear foundation without matching it to your skin tone, or when you go on a powder over-kill. Make bronzer your new best friend.
Lip liner sans lipstick.
Maybe your lipstick rubbed off. Or perhaps you just like it that way. No matter the reason, it still looks like you failed kindergarten coloring 101. After you outline, you have to shade in. If you’re prone to the creepy Elvira affect, just skip the liner.
Shadow stuck in creases.
Had a long day at the office? It shows. Eye shadow lingering in the creases just screams: my boss hates me and I’m so behind on these reports. You have a bathroom—now use it. Bring in your shadow and apply it during your breaks.
Matchy Matchy.
Even if pink is your favorite color and you want to show the world, you don’t have to express it by wearing it in three places on your face. Stick to an eye shadow, lipstick or blush. In this case, three times is not a charm.

| I look back on all my high school photos and cringe. I had just discovered the wonders of foundation, but no one told me I needed to use a little blush or foundation on top. In every picture my body was super-tan, and my face was bright white. Not cute. | |

| Aahhh the glitter! I was definitely guilty of this mistake when I was younger. I must admit I do still have a glitter eye shadow- but it's only for costume parties! | |

| I like glitter. Granted I don't wear it every day but for special parties or events I think glitter can add alot. Especially if you keep in in specific areas like your eye lids only. I think its cute and a nice touch. | |
