Costume blush.
Did you just graduate from clown school? If so, then congratulations! But if you’re not performing at little Jimmy’s third birthday, then leave the perfectly defined blush circles to the carnival folk. Brushes were made for a reason. To blend.
Chimney sweep bronzer.
Bronzer adds some much needed color (especially after you’ve been indoors during the dark winter months). But that doesn’t mean you need to brush it all over your face like you’re dusting for fingerprints. The chimney sweep look is so Mary Poppins.
Raccoon Eyes.
Raccoons are so cute, with their adorable little circles around their eyes. But unless you’re dressing up like one for Halloween, stay as far away as you can from looking like this furry creature. Avoid unnecessary eye rubbing, and if you keep having issues, try a new mascara or just stop using it on your lower lashes altogether.

| I look back on all my high school photos and cringe. I had just discovered the wonders of foundation, but no one told me I needed to use a little blush or foundation on top. In every picture my body was super-tan, and my face was bright white. Not cute. | |

| Aahhh the glitter! I was definitely guilty of this mistake when I was younger. I must admit I do still have a glitter eye shadow- but it's only for costume parties! | |

| I like glitter. Granted I don't wear it every day but for special parties or events I think glitter can add alot. Especially if you keep in in specific areas like your eye lids only. I think its cute and a nice touch. | |
