4. Fill Them in.
Whether thick or thin, all eyebrows must be filled in for a fuller look. Pencils give different effects, so if you want to create a frame, choose skinny pencils. But if you prefer a more powdery, softer look, go for chunky ones, which work better for nonprofessionals.
Use a blonde pencil for very light to medium skin tones, and dark brown for olive skin. And switch it up for every occasion: “if you want to look a little bit sexier for the evening, use a darker shade of pencil so they stand out more. If you’re at the beach, don’t use any pencil- just use brow gel to have them shaped properly,” Eliza suggests.

5. Soothe Those Burns.
Eliza recommends staying away from waxing for at least six weeks if burning occurs. Some of her favorite remedies include any creams with Calendula (marigold flowers), a natural healing herb that’s known to soothe burns and acne, and vitamin E. And while plain yogurt is good enough to eat, it also heals burned skin too.

| I don't believe threading is permanent--the process uses a cotton thread to pull hairs from the skin by the root, much faster than tweezing and much less painfully than waxing. | |

| Yeah, I agree that permanent anything - be it eyeliner, eyebrows - whatever is a definite no-no. Because what if you want a fuller look, and you're stuck with rail thin eyebrows? Now you see stars like Sienna going the bushy route...something you def can't do if you got them permanently done. | |

| I hear threading is in style right now. Is this a good idea? | |

| I LOVE Eliza. I had the privilege to get my eyebrows done by her at Exhale. She's amazing! | |

| Eyebrows actually do change your face. I used to pluck, but in college I started waxing my eyebrows and my face looked and felt so much more fresh and clean. I really felt more confident. | |

| I always do my own eyebrows - and pluck the tops. ooooooops. | |
