3. Belts, Belts and More Belts.
When it comes to accessories that can really show off your figure, belts are your best bet. “A belt around a long, sleek sweater or cardigan really works wonders,” says Finola. And when it comes down to it, wide, narrow, elastic, colored, patent leather, buckled, sequined, jeweled, western – you can’t go wrong!
4. Layer it Right.
To make your ensemble less cumbersome, start with the thinnest undergarment, and then work from there. “Sexy lace camis and opaque tights are just as warm as their woolen counterparts!” says Finola. For outerwear, she suggests opting for a cape or peacoat, and holding it tight around you when the wind blows, but letting it hang open when you’re in the elevator or office lobby.
5. Turtleneck.
For a sleek turtleneck that is still flattering, Finola recommends ones that are slinky and stretchy and come in beautiful colors. Pair them with a pencil skirt or wide leg pants and you’ll have an hourglass figure (and you’ll be warm!
