Working forty-plus hour weeks leaves little time for ourselves, let alone hours to spend at the gym. So what’s a working girl to do when she’s planning on using her vacation days ASAP? To help us get fit fast, we turned to Jackie Warner, star of Bravo’s highly addictive Work Out, and expert at getting celebrities in red carpet shape in no time flat. Print out her workout and take it to the gym, or give it a shot at home. It’s intense but only lasts twenty-five minutes, which means you can do it quickly and still have time for more … work?
Jackie’s Twenty-Five Minute Workout
Approximately Twenty-Five Minutes.
Three sets of twenty reps (on each side if applicable) OR to fatigue.
Repeat workout three times a week.
Exercise #1
Chest
These are not your average P.E. pushups. Keep your arms slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and spread your fingers. Then, slowly lower yourself down. The trick?
Jackie Says: When you come up, round your back to the ceiling. This focuses the burn onto your chest region.
Exercise #2
Butt and Hamstring
These really work your booty!
Get on all fours and bring one knee to your chest. Then, kick your leg to the ceiling, making sure your ankle is straight (I suffered from floppy ankle syndrome). Bring your leg down to its starting position.
