8. Curtain Call. Most theater performances don’t sell out every ticket, no matter what it says on the internet.  So pull up to the theater a couple hours early, you may not get the best seats in the house, but they will be (discount!)

9. Now Open for Business. Restaurants, clubs—you name it—give great food and drink discounts when they first open, because they want you to LOVE it and tell your 500 best friends. So check the food and entertainment section in your newspaper (or on the web) and snag those deals—and be a trend setter.

10. Oh So Happy Hour. Not only is happy hour a great way to take advantage of cheap drinks, but many bars offer free appetizers—which can pose for a great and greasy dinner.

No matter what you decide to do tonight—be resourceful, there’s plenty of ways to go out without having to break the bank.
