SM: Are Londoners and Brits the most common UCL students?
Kohinoor: I have met so many different kinds of students. There’s almost a 50/50 divide among the people I personally know: half international stuents and then the other half being British students.

SM: What kind of a person would thrive in the UCL environment?
Kohinoor: If you really want to make the most of it you must have initiative, be self-disciplined and obviously know how to have fun!

SM: Can you offer some helpful advice to incoming UCL students or high school gals thinking about applying?
Kohinoor: Try to visit as many Open Days as possible to soak up the atmosphere and decide if it is the kind of place you want to spend the next three years of your life. Or you can always check the website’s virtual tours. Also don’t be afraid to e-mail professors either. Last but not least, good luck!
