Scenario:Everyone says being single is the perfect time to enjoy being you and figuring out who you are without having to worry about someone else. So how can you get the most out of this time?Live in the Moment. Forget about your future Brownstone and the beautiful children you and your figurative husband will have. Ford says, “Everything you do should be about being joyful today and in your body where you are at right now; not making all these calculations of how you are going to get where you want to be in [a relationship] five years from now.”
Concentrate on how you can be a better person. Ford suggests asking yourself, “How do I want to grow today?” She also says, “Falling in love is what happens while you are busy loving your own life. I really believe that we need to pour ourselves into our lives. I think all that other stuff takes care of itself.”
So get busy with life and love yourself. That’s not too bad, is it?
