Five Reasons Why Summer Is a Single Gal’s Best Season
No. 2: Your vacation truly is YOUR vacation.
There’s none of this, you want to go to a spa, he wants to go camping, so you both settle and go on a road trip. Instead, you can go anywhere, at any time and with anyone you want. Long weekend in Palm Springs with your friends? Sure. Two-week backpacking trip in Europe solo? Why not? When traveling alone you can follow your own whims and not worry about whether he’s having fun too. Plan your dream itinerary (or don’t plan at all) and realize compromise is not always a good thing.
No. 1: You can have a summer fling.
You don’t need a guy to have an amazing summer (numbers five through two prove that) but if you want someone for a little summer loving, then you’re totally able to do so. Summer is the season of no-strings attached relationships, so have fun, flirt up a storm and find a hot body to occupy your time in July and August. | Traveling solo is the best. I love wandering around new cities and going wherever I want, my favorite was when I was in Italy. I would wander the streets of Florence and always be amazed and the new shops, cafes and tiny little museums and churches I would find. | |
