The worst [Valentine’s Day] was when I felt I had to have [a valentine], like I was a LOSER if I didn't have one sitting at work surrounded by other peoples’ flowers. I had a fight with the guy I was seeing shortly before the day and knew Valentine’s Day would just be another day solo. I was seriously thinking of ditching work so I wouldn't look like a loser but at the last minute I went anyways and carried on with the day as normal. And you know what, I was fine. When I was a senior in high school, I hung out with these girls who were always so horrible to me! I was a huge fan of “That '70s Show” (and I didn’t have a Valentine) so we all went to a taping of the show. However, my "friends" were an hour late coming to my house, not even apologetic at all, so we missed the taping.
