Got skydiving on the brain? Are you secretly harboring a desire to write the Great American novel? Or maybe you've always wanted to paint a Parisian sunset. Regardless of what that deep-seated passion is, give yourself permission to pursue it while you're footloose and fancy-free.

4. Have a romantic fling.
Let's face it—flings are fun! But you don't have to go all the way to get your kicks. A simple flirt-fest may do the trick. Then again, making out with a cute stranger in an inappropriately public place is a badge every single gal should earn at least once.

5. Travel.
Don't put off that trip to Europe, the Caribbean, or to see old friends until you've met Mr. Right. Instead, recruit your girlfriends or take that solo vacay you've been dreaming of.
