Now, maybe I’m being too pessimistic. Maybe this is the one time out of a 100 where I’m wrong, and something could blossom. Maybe this is your soul mate hidden in the body of a horny guy. So just in case, let me say this. If you really, truly feel there’s a special connection with this guy – and I’m talking outside the bedroom, missy – I would advise you to put it out there. Tell him how you feel. Say you want something more. Ask him on a date. Take a chance. As scary as this is, it’s the only way to get what you want.

But if he balks – and chances are he will because he’s an idiot and doesn’t know you’re as fabulous in plain daylight as you are in the midnight hour – you have to be prepared to cut things off. After all, you should never stick around when the guy doesn’t reciprocate your level of feelings. Why? Because there’s someone out there who does.
