4.    Review the guy’s “Romance Résumé.” Does he have past experience in maintaining solid relationships or is he strictly a one-night-only man?  Your after-dark dater may not qualify for morning mating rituals. Expect to make the first move. Suggest meeting for after dinner drinks or a quick bite at a casual restaurant.  Then make an excuse for why you can’t join him later.  He’s in the habit of committing for a few hours. Use them to explore each other minds rather than your bodies. 

5.    Be unavailable.  This one is hard. Definitely return his phone calls - the next day.  Force him to hear your voice in the daytime.  With any luck after a few tries he’ll stop thinking you only exist in the dark. 

6.    People tell you who they are when they meet you.  You told this guy you were someone interested in having a no-strings-attached relationship; so don’t be surprised if he’s not interested in changing gears.  And the next time you meet that new cutie with the nice booty, start the relationship the way you want it to finish.
