Jump ship! In the famous words of that one dude, “He’s just not that into you.” If he is, the only way to get him back is to ignore him and let him chase you. I’m sure it sounds childish… but I’ve never told a girl I liked that we needed to slow things down. Also “dependent” translates to “clingy,” it’s just a nice way of saying it.

I would imagine, amongst many other things, that one of the harder things for a woman to do in a relationship is to lead the chase and play hard to get, especially when you really like a guy. But most men like that game and you kinda just forfeited it in one weekend—which sucks ‘cause you were just being sweet. My advice is to take that sweetness to the next guy, feel it out and maybe hold it back a little bit longer ‘til you know you’ve got him locked down.
