Congratulations on embracing the dating scene and having fun! Too many girls get caught up in quickly trying to find “the one” and miss out on the excitement of dating and figuring out what type of great qualities they ultimately want in a guy. I think you are wise in not putting ALL your eggs in one basket; until you know you want to spend your time with one guy, there is nothing wrong with setting up different date nights with a mixture of guys—lucky you!

As you explore the dating scene try to keep the good, old-fashioned “Golden Rule” in mind: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” If you feel comfortable dating several guys at once and can separate your feelings among each of them while having fun, then go for it!

However, if you begin to feel guilty from juggling several guys at once, or you reach a point where you do not like the idea of one of the guys spending time with another female (Yes, if you are multi-dating, I guarantee the guys are too.) then you might need to figure out if multiple dating is the right choice for you.

As shallow as it may sound, try and compare the various guys you spend time with to shopping for shoes. OK, OK, I know we are talking about your heart and not your feet. However, you did say you have not found the man you are going to marry, so why not “shop” around. Try on several pairs and slowly decide who is a great fit for you. Remember, the shoe that looks amazing in the window might not be comfy enough to wear all day at work, but it could be the perfect match for a fantastic party.
