Well, I'm currently in a four year relationship and I'm in no hurry to get married, so I can empathize with your boyfriend. Really, the only thing you can do is wait. If you love him, and he loves you, you'll both come to a point in your life where you'll realize everything is right—timing, how you feel, your joint financial situation, etc. Too often a decision of such large magnitude, like marriage, is rushed into and as a result, things end badly—like with an expensive, hate-filled divorce. Just realize that when your boyfriend is ready, you'll know it.
