There. Done. You asked and now you'll get your answer without having made a big, emotional production out of it. You see, guys don't want to feel like they are being put on the spot. So when you have a heavy question, you have to "ask" it in a casual, conversational manner so the guy doesn't freeze up or, even worse, get defensive. Instead, ask him in a roundabout way and then let the conversation proceed in a seemingly organic fashion. If he tells you there's a good chance he's moving to Spain, then you have every right to find out where that leaves you. But be cool about it and be prepared. Oh, and one more thing, before you have this conversation you need to decide if you even want to say "Adiós" to your life in the U.S.A. and "Hola" to a life in Spain.
