| I definitely agree with these pros and cons. My best friend was dating a younger guy who she was totally in love with- the only problem being that he wouldn't commit. Despite how much they cared about each other, the age gap was definitely a problem in that relationship. | |

I have no experience with men younger than me however, I have plenty of experience with the geriatric crowd! Everything in your article is true to the bone. The older man that I was in a relationship with the longest (off and on for 8 years), was a player (had other women), afraid of commitment, a bona fide bachelor for life (had been married, divorced, 5 adult kids). The second gentleman of this genre I dated had the same issues and I dated him for 3 years. Yes, they do know how to treat a lady and they were adequate in bed. However, to experience the adventurous frolicking in bed your article describes, I definitely would have to check out a younger man. Older men tend to be old fogies in bed. One final bit of advice about older men, realize that you may be the reason his buddies rib him in the side and you may be a sign to him and the world that he's still got it going on but ... if it's a sugar daddy relationship, please know that is all it is and will be. I'm with a man, [boy] who is three years younger then me. You wouldn't think it's that much of an age difference but when you're in your twenties every year matters. He is so much more immature then me. This is the first time I've dated someone younger then me. He is driving me CRAZY. I feel like his mother. He wants to move in with me and thought of it makes my stomach turn. I would have to clean up after him more then I do now. I guess its time for me to let him go. He's just too cute for words. |

Personally, I always prefer "older" men. They usually know much more about relationships and sex.

The older I got, the larger the age gap was between myself and the older men I dated. Right now I'm dating a guy who's 12 years older than me and yes, it sucks because he doesn't see the value of replying to text messages (according to him, he's not a part of this "text generation") or enjoy hanging out with me and my friends. It also sucks cause he always thinks he's right, just because he's older...he's not open to criticisms and corrections. On the other hand, he's amazing in bed- when I showed him this site about Kegel exercises (http://en.sensual-health.com/KEGEL-EXERCISE-HOW-TO), he told me it was not necessary- he knew everything about them already. So that's why he's so good in bed. |
