Every year, 11,000 Americans injure themselves while trying out bizarre sexual positions
(Source: comedy-zone.net).

Most likely you’ve pulled a muscle or fallen off the bed a time or two while trying out some interesting new positions, but if you’re like many of us, you’d never admit it. So I set out to see how women are actually getting their “back aches,” and “sore jaws,” and ways you too can avoid these strange injuries the next time you jump in the sack.

Cause of Injury: Ejaculation in Eye (Don't laugh - this actually happens.)

My boyfriend used to "pull-out" whenever we had sex. This one time he pulled out right away, and his "stuff" flew straight into my eye. It stung like hell and I thought I was about to go blind ... It was red for a couple of hours. –Jessica, 24.

Although Jessica’s eye pain only lasted a few hours, yours could last longer. A London study found that getting ejaculation in your eye might actually cause Chlamydia of the eye [Source: pubmed.com]. It can only happen if he has Chlamydia, so don’t completely freak out, but it is another reason to make sure your partner has been tested. Even if you’re not contracting a serious disease, ejaculation in the eye is still painful, and slightly embarrassing.

Injury Prevention Tip:  Close your eyes. And use a condom.

Cause of Injury: Hazard Zones

One time when my boyfriend and I were having sex, the bed was rocking so hard that it hit my desk which ended up falling over. The desk didn’t land on us (thank God), but we did get pelted by heavy books and cut by broken glass. –Mia, 31.
