
I never feel attractive when I exercise; I’ve come to equate the word “gym” with “gross.” But working out doesn’t have to make you feel like you’re repulsing anything with a pulse. It can make you feel sexier than ever, at least if you’re using Shelia Kelly’s S Factor DVD.
If you’re like me and tense up in front of others—dance classes, yoga classes, you name it, but are willing to strut your stuff in the privacy of your home, the S Factor DVD is perfect for you. The video starts out with sexually-infused stretches, where Sheila Kelley encourages “discovering your curves” and slowing down your motions to really feel the stretch. I immediately let my hair down when we did the body rolls, realizing that a pony-tail is a serious S Factor faux pas.
The most strenuous part of the workout was the ab exercises. “The flirt” burned, but in a great, I-feel-like-I’m-getting-something-out-of-this kind of way, but the most entertaining exercise had to be the sexy walk. I felt like I was ready for the stage to make my big debut—that is until my roommate came home and I had to briefly explain to her what I was doing.
The DVD ends with lessons on how to do a “sexy crawl” (which actually hurt my knees—she recommends knee pads) and a sexy post-workout striptease. Although S Factor may not be the most effective calorie-burning exercise, it makes you feel really hot, and I don’t mean temperature-wise. Now the next step is convincing your roommates to install a pole.
