To kids, the holidays are all about presents. To adults, theyre all about parties. Now, my grandmother wasnt the type to sew Halloween costumes, tend to a rose-filled garden or bake anything that didnt come home from the store frozen. She wasnt considered much of a home-maker or the most involved parent at PTA meetings either. But every December, for one night, my grandmother became the envy of all of her neighbors as the hostess with the most-ess during her annual holiday party.

When it comes to throwing a fabulous party, according to my grandmother, it doesnt matter if your house is clean, guests are civil, or your kitchen is overflowing with homemade goodness. No, the secret ingredient for a successful holiday soiree, she says, lies in the chocolate. Rich, luscious, irresistible chocolate.

I recalled this piece of advice last weekend when I hosted my first holiday gathering and I set out a bowl of Lindt Lindor Truffles. Individually wrapped pieces of heaven, they were an immediate hit. But after an hour or so into my soiree I noticed my guests were all gathered on one side of the living room, while the other side was almost empty. Sure enough, they werent just gathered on the side of the room with the truffles, they were gathered around them. Note to self: Listen to grandma and always set out at least two bowls of Lindt Lindor Truffles on separate sides of the room.

Nothing tastes quite like the Lindor Truffle. Created only by Lindts Master Chocolatiers, its exquisite chocolate filled with a smooth chocolate center. When the irresistible center starts to will you. Smooth. Flowing. Luscious. Chocolate like no other.
