Instead of spending the money (and enduring the pain) of false eyelashes or eyelash implants, Talika’s Lipocils offers a way to get longer, glossier lashes without the use of glue and surgical knives.


The bottle resembles mascara (with a wand and all), but it comes out of the tube looking shiny and clear. It’s not too threatening to apply because I’m used to putting on mascara and most of the ingredients come from vegetal extracts—like Nettle and Horse Chestnut, so I wasn’t worried about putting anything toxic next to my eye.

After using it morning and night for a couple days I couldn’t decide if my lashes had gotten any longer, but then again I wasn’t measuring. What I did notice was that my lashes seemed shinier and more pronounced. In the morning, I didn’t even feel the need to put on any mascara because the glisten made them stand out better than any other lash products ever have.
