I don't know about the rest of you guys, but this whole healthcare thing is really starting to get on my nerves. The premiums keep going up, Medicare is getting cut, and it's really expensive to try and provide health insurance and benefits to your employees. It's even difficult to pay for prescription meds. I'm just...I'm tired of it.

I was searching around and I found this petition online that AARP has. I know that AARP is for "old folks," but it has a lot of tips and ideas of how to reform Medicare and the healthcare industry. Not only that, but I'm not getting any younger--and soon that will be me. You should check out their petition at www.thisissoridiculous.com. We need to get our voices heard before it gets worse.

I am working to support this with AARP because I think it's important that we fix the status of healthcare right now, not to mention the implications of healthcare in the future: for our parents, our spouses, and our children. It's scary when you think of it.

Anyone have any stories to tell about benefits and the small business owner? Or any stories about the healthcare industry itself? I'd be interested to see how similar our issues are. Anyone have any good ideas on what should be done to fix it?

I haven't, but I am scared of healthcare. It's hard to graduate college, and have to try and figure out how you are going to afford healthcare when you don't even have a job. I'll check it out.
