Question time!

It's hard to not nag. Even though we don't want to come off as a "nag" it's impossible to stop the words from leaving our mouths.

So the question-

Have you ever been called a "nag" by your significant other? What did you say? Why did you "nag?"

A nag is so annoying. There's a differance between asking something of someone and nagging them. It all comes down to the tone in which you say it, the way you word it and the time and place in which you ask it. No one wants to be a nag but sometimes nagging gets you what you want because they'll do it just to shut you up; thats why you can't stop because you eventually get what you want. But i always think of naggers as children if you want to be respected for what you want and want to be considered like an adult you'll ask like an adult.
Just don't make it a habit you don't want your guy to take a deep breath everytime you open your mouth.

I do nag. I thought I never would because I saw my mom do it to my dad my whole life. But then, now that I'm in a relationship and I agree with Leslie - I can't stop the words from coming out of my mouth. I guess "nagging" is a catch-all phrase for reminding repetitively, but the real distinction is the tone. If you don't belittle the other party when you do it, then in my mind, it is fine. Because then what else? Are you supposed to let whatever is happening keep right on happening forever until you one day blow up? I don't think so.

Guys are only responsive to nags during sex, so always save your nags for then.

Hmm...

Last week, I actually wrote a blog about this *very* issue. I think the reason why I lot of us believe that blogging works is because we don't understand just how a man actually processes it. I have a male friend who said something really profound about it, though. If you care to know, check out the link below:

Happy Friday and Good Luck.
