You know when you feel it … that voice inside or feeling on your skin that’s trying to tell you something, whether it’s “yes, go for it,” “this doesn’t seem right” or “turn around and run!”
It’s your intuition speaking AKA your guiding light.
We all have been blessed with intuition — whether we listen to it or not. It gives us that nudge to say “yes” to that travel opportunity, or “no” to that nanny, job or second date.
We have a new favorite word we’d like to share with you today… Flawsome.
Flawsome (adj.) An individual who embraces their “flaws” and knows they’re awesome regardless.
Most of us can be pretty hard on ourselves and tend to focus on what we perceive to be bad, wrong or unwanted instead of the good stuff.
Are you feeling like it’s time to create more joy, self-love and ease in your life? Us too …
That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce you to EveryDay Happy – our brand new 30-day class designed to uplift, inspire and transform your life.
“Love is a game that two can play and both can win.” — Eva Gabor
Chrissy and John, Meghan and Harry, Kate and William. Turn on the TV or scroll through Instagram, and you’ll likely hear about or spot a celebrity “power couple.”
But just because they’re big names doesn’t mean you too can’t be part of a power couple.
“When you say ‘yes’ to others, make sure you’re not saying ‘no’ to yourself.” — Paulo Coelho
Are you a “yes” person whose to-do list grows longer by the minute?
Are your days so jam-packed taking care of others you feel you don’t have time to breathe, let alone read a book, work on a passion project or enjoy a little “me time?”
If you’ve ever been out at sea in the middle of a pitch-black night and saw a lighthouse, you know it’s much more than an iconic structure that helps boats navigate.
To sailors that bright light shining out of the dark is hope. It’s comfort. It’s a source of joy.
There’s so much negativity in the world today, but it’s important to keep our happiness shining bright AND spread that joy on to others, just like a lighthouse.
There’s a lot you may feel like you have to worry about. But take a deep breath and know everything is going to be OK.
Whatever’s swirling in your head right now or bringing you down with work, family, relationships, money, try not to let stress win. It’ll all turn out alright.
Actually, better than alright!
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.” — Ferris Bueller
We don’t know about you, but this time of year many of us have fallen into a routine (or, if we’re calling a spade a spade … a rut!).
The excitement of an official New Year has worn off and we’re wondering how we’re already three months in.
Picture it: You have a rough day at work, so on your way home you stop into a swanky boutique and buy a dress that’s cute and almost, sort-of fits.
Or you’re on the couch, watching a Gilmore Girls re-run and mindlessly adding things to your Amazon cart, hitting “ship” before you know what’s happened.
