This year will certainly be a different kind of Thanksgiving for most of us. There’s a good chance we won’t be able to reunite with family, and share the big, festive meal we all know and love.
While just thinking of an out-of-the-ordinary Thanksgiving might make you feel down, this year, it’s more important than ever to give thanks for what you do have, and find ways to connect with friends and family — even if it’s over Zoom.
Are you thankful you have people who love you unconditionally? Are you grateful for the job that you have or the children (or fur babies) who bring you joy?
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, today, we want to encourage you to make a list of 10 things you’re grateful for. Then, post the list on your cupboard or fridge, to remind yourself of why this turkey day, you really will have so much to give thanks for.
(We’d love to hear what you’re grateful for if you feel like sharing please reply to this email!)
Then, decide how you’ll reach out to loved ones on Thanksgiving, to still feel the warmth of family and friends on this important day (maybe it’s a Zoom with your cousins or FaceTime with your sister).
If you come into this Thanksgiving feeling super-blessed — and not stressed — it may be one of your best holidays yet.
Wishing you a happy, healthy, love-filled Thanksgiving.

Quote du jour
“Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year because it reminds us to give thanks and to count our blessings. Suddenly, so many things become so little when we realize how blessed and lucky we are.” — Joyce Giraud
